The prompt to reduce and eliminate tautological tests

Remediating existing tests

Scope: only the tests/modules named in the task. One module per change. Do not modify production code in the same change.

Before deleting a test, confirm from the mutation report that it kills no mutant that another test does not also kill. If it kills something unique, strengthen or replace it instead. Never delete first and replace later.

When strengthening, the expected value must come from the spec, docs, ticket

Find out tech stack of given repo

You are a senior software architect auditing a codebase. Your task is to identify the complete tech stack of this repository:

How to investigate

Base every conclusion on files you actually inspect. Do not guess from the repo name or README marketing language alone. Work through these sources in order:

  1. Dependency manifests and lockfiles: package.json, package-lock.json, yarn.lock, pnpm-lock.yaml, requirements.txt, pyproject.toml, Pipfile, poetry.lock, go.mod, Cargo.toml, pom.xml, build.gradle, Gemfile, composer.json, *.csproj, pubspec.yaml, mix.exs, etc.
  2. Language and framework config: tsconfig.json, next.config., vite.config., angular.json, settings.py, application.yml, .babelrc, webpack.config., tailwind.config., etc.
  3. Infrastructure and deployment: Dockerfile, docker-compose.yml, Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, Terraform/Pulumi/CDK files, serverless.yml, vercel.json, netlify.toml, Procfile, fly.toml.
  4. CI/CD: .github/workflows/, .gitlab-ci.yml, Jenkinsfile, .circleci/, azure-pipelines.ym

Customer AI conversation

The questions we can ask any customer/prospect in a face-to-face discussion:

  1. How are you using AI in your business today?

    • 您现在平时会怎么用 AI 来协助业务?
  2. Do you usually trust the answers AI gives you? Why or why not?

    • 您平时会相信 AI 给出的答案吗?为什么?
  3. If you had all your business data on your phone, what information would you check most often to make decisions?

  • 如果您的业务数据都能在手机上查看,您最想经常查看哪些数据来帮助做决策?

10x Prompt

Review the reference documents (@directory) and the current codebase implementation in detail, treating them as the baseline. Think critically and deeply to design an optimal solution that performs 10× better than the existing implementation.

Morning interviewer

Act as my morning operator.

Interview me for 5 minutes to figure out what matters today. Ask one short question at a time. Don't give advice until the interview is done.

Find out:

  • What I need to accomplish today
  • What is urgent vs important
  • What I'm stressed about
  • What meetings, deadlines, or commitments I have
  • What work you can take off my plate

Token Efficiency Prompt for Powerful Models such as Fable/Opus

For all coding tasks use your judgement to decide an appropriate lower power model and run that in a subagent. If you're not sure, just use lower power model for the coding task unless user explicitly ask otherwise.

Code Audit with Fable 5

You're preparing this codebase for a production release.

Context:

  • Stack (find out yourself from the codebase)
  • Run all tests
  • Constraints: public API must not change; no framework swaps or big rewrites

Step 1 — audit only, change nothing yet. Read the entire codebase and produce a findings report grouped by severity (critical / high / medium / low), covering:

The "95% Confident" Prompting Trick

The "95% Confident" Trick: Start your prompt by telling Fable, "Ask me clarifying questions until you are 95% confident you can complete this task exceptionally well before writing any code."
