/better: an agent skill that asks for a deeper version of a task, not a bigger one. Drop into ~/.claude/skills/better/ or ~/.agents/skills/better/
name better
description Push the current task, or a prompt the user gives, to a deeper version of itself. Use only when the user explicitly types /better or $better.

I want a deeper version of this task, not a bigger one. Before rewriting it: (1) say what a top professional in this field would do here that I'm not asking for; (2) name the rawest material they would start from instead of what has already been digested for me; (3) name the specific methods and tools they would use; (4) say what, other than you or me, would show the result is right. Then rewrite my prompt to ask for exactly that.

How to apply it

# AI Writing Tells β€” Definitive Deny-List (as of August 2026)
Guard file for OpenTrawl landing-page copy. Every future draft is checked against this list.
The goal: copy that reads like a sharp human wrote it β€” plain, specific, opinionated, gov.uk-style.
If a phrase, pattern, or rhythm below appears in a draft, rewrite it. Clusters of these are the tell;
one stray word is not. The strongest single signal is **density + formulaic structure**, not any one word.
Confirmed project-specific tells (from the human owner β€” treat as hard bans):
- Overcompressed fragment stacking presented as punchy copy: "Your apps, in SQLite, on your disk. Your AI searches them. No cloud, no accounts."
- Anthropomorphic punchline: "The archive already knew."

Frontend Design Skill

This skill guides creation of frontend interfaces that are both well-designed (usable, clear, appropriate) and visually distinctive (memorable, polished, intentional).

Core Principle

This skill guides creation of distinctive, production-grade frontend interfaces that avoid generic "AI slop" aesthetics. Implement real working code with exceptional attention to aesthetic details and creative choices.

The user provides frontend requirements: a component, page, application, or interface to build. They may include context about the purpose, audience, or technical constraints.
