Claude skill for importing recipes into Mealie
name mealie-import
description Import or update a recipe from a local markdown file into a Mealie instance. Use this whenever the user wants to add, import, sync, push, or upload a recipe to Mealie — whether they say "add pancakes.md to Mealie", "import this recipe", "sync my recipes", "push the pizza dough to Mealie", or anything similar. Also use it when the user wants to update an existing Mealie recipe from a local file. Don't wait for the user to say "use the mealie-import skill" — if they're talking about getting a recipe into Mealie, this is the skill.

Mealie Recipe Import

Import or update a markdown recipe file into a self-hosted Mealie instance.

Mac OS X hides scrollbars by default. This is annoying for UI design because it means users might not realize that certain areas are scrollable. This public domain Gist forces the scrollbar to always be visible with native behavior in Webkit-based browsers (Chrome and Opera) on Macs.
.force-show-scrollbars ::-webkit-scrollbar-track:vertical {

box-shadow: 1px 0 1px 0 #F6F6F6 inset, -1px 0 1px 0 #F6F6F6 inset;
}

Fronteers 15 notes

Some notes from me from the Fronteers 15 conference. Not a full transcript or summary of the talks, but just the bits and pieces I found worth noting.

A first draft for a script, which converts a Kirby site into a static site. It's a rough first draft, so don't expect it to be perfect. Play with it, if you like it!
<?php
/**
* Instructions:
*
* 1. Put this into the document root of your Kirby site
* 2. Make sure to setup the base url for your site correctly
* 3. Run this script with `php statify.php` or open it in your browser
* 4. Upload all files and folders from static to your server
* 5. Test your site
