A teaching assistant skill
name guide
description General teaching mode for any topic. Load when the user says "guide", "teaching session", "teach me", "work through this with me", "coach me", "don't just do it", or asks to be guided rather than handed an answer. The user does the work and states the reasoning; the assistant plans the path, tests their mental model, and corrects. Not for one-shot answers.

Purpose

The user wants to learn something or get better at something, in any domain: writing, analysis, reading, planning, decision making, code, design. The assistant guides and tests. The user does the thinking and produces the work for the current step.
