A cross-platform configuration suite and synchronization manager for Herdr App (the native GUI desktop application for herdr-core).
This setup automates managing your ~/.config/herdr-app across multiple machines (macOS, Linux, and Windows) using cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive, iCloud) or a centralized dotfiles repository.

Install shared.config.toml next to the machine-local ~/.codex/config.toml.
Start it with codex --profile shared, or cx after loading the Unix or
PowerShell shortcut. Plain codex still uses your original configuration.
Requires Codex 0.134.0 or later. Profiles are separate files, not legacy
[profiles.shared] tables or a top-level profile selector.

~/.config/herdr/config.toml
Herdr main config: keybindings, theme (catppuccin), sidebar. [ui.sidebar.agents] holds the $cache color rules for cache-hit, recolored with catppuccin tones (the plugin defaults are unreadable on dark themes).
plugins.json
~/.config/herdr/plugins.json
Installed plugins snapshot (managed by herdr plugin; contains machine-specific absolute paths, for reference only).

This script identifies and removes downloaded macOS Aerial wallpaper and screensaver video files (.mov) that are not currently in use, helping you reclaim tens of gigabytes of disk space.
Since macOS Sonoma/Sequoia, the settings for Aerial wallpapers and screensavers are unified. The script parses your active configuration to determine which videos belong to your active selections (whether they are individual videos, specific subcategories, or entire shuffle categories) and safely cleans up the rest.
🚀 How it Works
Config Analysis: Reads ~/Library/Application Support/com.apple.wallpaper/Store/Index.plist to locate active screensaver/wallpaper selections.
Asset Mapping: Loads the local manifest ~/Library/Application Support/com.apple.wallpaper/aerials/manifest/entries.json to map configured selection IDs to specific video filenames.
